The Platform IXP consists of the Virtual Office (VO), a java based client software and a web based interface. Workstations/Desktops and hand held devices connect to the VO through the provided java based client software or over the web based interface through browsers. The supported browsers are Fire Fox and IE, but other browsers work as well. The VO is a collection of services running on servers installed and maintained by us for you.

The outer ring of the Virtual Office (VO) depicts commonly used servers. Examples are: security-, document-, database-, email- and web server-services. These server services are in connection with the Draw-Test-eXecute-Use (DeTeXU) service depicted in the center. The DeTeXU environment consists of an integrated development environment (Projects) a test Service (Test), and application server (Processes) as well as the use environments for the Web Browser as well the client/server environment.

The project service supports modeling of business processes and diagram based programming of workflows and software internal processes. These diagrams are published - compiled - to the process service as processes. One or more of these processes represents a feature of the process supporting application. Since the smallest deployment unit is a software feature supporting a business process step or part thereof this application server is actually a feature server, features that make up a process supporting application. The process service has so the function of an application server supporting the execution of the visually programmed diagrams in code. The use environment for the process supporting applications can be reached through the java client or a web browser.

Each of the virtual offices services has a user interface. These user environments also can be reached over the web through a web browser using http(s) or the java based client application using tcp protocol.

Combining innovative programming with software life-cycle management of processes supporting application feature by feature based on diagrams with a delivery mechanism within a service does not only change total cost of ownership but opens new opportunities within the business through a new relationship to software.
